Arrebujao Tinto 2023 13%

A superb value red from our latest import addition, Castuo Wines. We fell in love with the project in the west of Spain, Extremadura, where winemaker Fernando is producing natural wines from unusual grapes (many of which are actually Portuguese), crafting beautifully pure, delicious wines. A blend of Garnacha Tintorera, Trincadeira, Mazuelo and Tempranillo from vines up to 40 years old. Spontaneously fermented in steel and then aged in 1000L concrete eggs for 2 months before bottling with minimal additions. The resulting fresh, young wine is a bright red colour, with aromas of sour strawberry, cherry and violets. Very fresh and approachable in the mouth, also great chilled.

Pairing: A great summer red that works beautifully at a bbq.
